In the Heart of Valpolicella Classica

Our vineyards are located in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, in the municipality of Marano di Valpolicella, at an altitude of approximately 450 meters above sea level. Situated in a hilly area, our vineyards are fully exposed to the south.

Our Location in the Valley

Located in the municipality of Marano, in a tranquil and secluded setting, just above the charming village of Purano and connected to it by a short stretch of road, is the historic court of Fornaledo. This toponym, of ancient origin, has been preserved to this day and now gives its name to our renowned winery.

The court, detached from the district of Purano, is privileged with breathtaking views over the entire valley and the slopes of Monte Pastello. Purano, although part of the municipality of Marano, is situated on the eastern slope of the drainage basin of the Progni Valley, which is the deepest and most scenic among the three valleys of Valpolicella. This geographical context gives the court of Fornaledo a unique charm, with panoramas that captivate both the eye and the soul, making it a special place where history, nature, and winemaking harmoniously converge.

First and foremost, we are farmers

We are first and foremost farmers, with a deep conviction: everything begins with the land. Respect for Mother Nature is the cornerstone of our philosophy.

The message we aim to convey is rooted in agricultural wisdom: to obtain a quality product, it is essential to respect the land, traditions, and the natural rhythms required.
